Over the last two days we have received four separate large donations. The total amount of these is £2492.50.

We have the guys at the Leeds wall who asked all their visitors to bring in unwanted equipment for them to sell on behalf of CAC. So far the shop has raised £823.00 Thank you to everyone who contributed up to now and to all the staff who have helped out at the shop. Keep up the great work guys.  If you have any items lying around that you want to give them you will find the details at the link below …

Then we have Mike Axon and his team of intrepid cyclists from Big Rock climbing wall in Milton Keynes. The team took part in the 2017 Extra Mile challenge which saw them cover 500 miles through France from the plains and hills of Brittany finishing on the World War 2 landing beaches. This challenge raised a total of £799.50. A big Thank you goes to all the team members.

Kale McCauley from Canberra in Australia. Kale offered private coaching for a donation to his go fund me page. The goal was to reach $1000.00 Australian dollars then he would have a CAC tattoo. He raised a total of $1405.oo and with the exchange rate the charity received £768.0. Check out Kale’s local wall here…

Without the help and support of each and every one of you we would not be able to do what we do. We are honoured and humbled to be a part of this.  From emptying your pocket of change into a CAC collection box at your local wall, or the occasional £10 that you feel you can give,  to creating a fund raiser that brings in hundreds or even thousands, every donation is a testament to the amazing community that is the climbing community.

By the end of 2018 we will have given £100,000.00 to research centres spread around the globe. It is all thanks to each and every one of you that we can do this. We are more determined than ever to continue the fight against this awful disease and to carry John’s legacy forward.

Thank you…. !!
