Quick update.
Below you’ll see the post that went out on 22 October 2024 at 5.30 pm in the UK, or 6.30pm on Scarpa (Italy) time. Within 24 hours we had sold out of 80% of the pairs, and the rest were gone well before breakfast the next day as people in different time zones discovered the amazing offer.
While we expected they would sell well, that turned out to be the understatement of 2024. We know a lot of you missed out, but 100 of you will be delighted with your special edition Dragos when you receive them we’re sure. Wear them with pride and don’t leave them lying around, they’re like gold dust!
And of course many, many thanks again to Scarpa for the incredibly generous gesture.
There have been over 8000 likes (as we write at midday on October 27) for the Instagram reel announcing the collaboration, and many new followers on our IG account, proving the power of social media can be harnessed for good!
We are delighted to announce that Scarpa, the iconic Italian climbing shoe manufacturer, has created a limited series of shoes, specially for Climbers Against Cancer.
These unique pink Drago models are being released to coincide with Pink October, and incredibly, Scarpa has DONATED a limited, one-off series of ONE HUNDRED pairs of them for us to sell – so 100% of sales, every single penny, will be going to fund cancer research and support for those living with and beyond the disease!
It’s a massive gesture by Scarpa, for which we’re struggling to find enough superlatives to express our gratitude.
