Shaving my head in 5 days

By Unknown

I’ve been wanting to shave my head in aid of Cancer Research UK since I was about 15 years old (I’m now 21) after the shock of finding out that my boyfriend at the time had lost his mother to cancer. After meeting too much counter argument for my under-developed conviction to fight against, I never did it.
After being reminded how vital it is to help fight cancer and support those in need, this summer is the one I contribute to the combat! I will be shaving my head on a university climbing trip that I’m going on this bank holiday weekend!! And I cannot wait! My friends and family have donated £180 (that I plan to split equally between Cancer Research UK and Alopecia UK) so far and have showed an immense amount of support. And I just want to say a huge thank you to Brunel University Mountaineering Society (BUMS) and all my friends for their donations and encouraging words! Love you all.
